2021 was by far the most challenging and yet the most incredible year for our community as we experienced growth in exponential ways!
It was a year of growth in Jewish life in Midtown. Over the past year, Chabad has been a hub of activities and programs have not stopped for one moment. Moving into our new facility created a tremendous opportunity for our community and enabled us to reach more community members. We have increased our efforts, in unique ways, safely providing services in these most trying times.
Whether through the ongoing daily and Shabbat services, outdoor Holiday programs on our rooftop, the Chabad Young Professionals events, the Hebrew for Kids after school program, the Midtown Jewish Preschool, and our signature weekly classes, Chabad at Midtown has offered every Jew living and visiting the area a wide array of opportunities to connect and joyfully celebrate Judaism.
Keeping Chabad at Midtown open and available requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. The day-to-day operational expenses can be daunting, especially as we don’t charge mandatory membership to participate.
