The steep rise in food prices is turning basic staples into luxuries, leaving many hardworking families struggling to put food on the table. In South Florida’s Jewish community, the need is greater than ever—families who once managed are now facing food insecurity. Many are in need of help.
That’s where the Helping Hands Food Ko-Op comes in. Since 2009, we’ve provided a dignified, community-driven solution—an online shopping experience where families can purchase nutritious kosher food at discounted prices.
Fresh deliveries leave our warehouse daily, bringing nourishment and relief to homes throughout South Florida. Families facing greater financial hardship receive additional subsidies, ensuring that no Jewish family is left without food for Shabbos, Yom Tov, or daily meals.
Beyond kosher food, the Ko-Op also eases financial strain through our interest-free loan Gemach, which has already provided over $1.2 million in loans to help families regain stability without the burden of interest and debt.
