A shimmering jewel within the great city of Kiev—the capital of Ukraine—is Kehilah Beis Aaron v’Yisroel, which spreads light to this entire city and beyond.
The community was established by the Karlin-Stoliner Rebbe with the fall of the Iron Curtain—prior to which there reigned a terrible drought of Yiddishkeit, as the Communists forcefully severed millions of Jews from their heritage.
In the ensuing years, generations have been brought back, many thousands of neshamos have returned to Yidddishkeit, and hundreds of families have returned and reconnected to the ways of their ancestors through these valiant efforts.
Today, you will find thriving Yiddishkeit in Kiev, with men, women and children going about their lives, living and breathing their heritage. The Kehila’s efforts are broad and wide-ranging, and include Shuls, schools, programming for adults and children of all ages, Chesed, and spares no effort and no expense to encourage and promote Yiddishkeit.
For reasons beyond their control, an entire new infrastructure has had to be rebuilt, and this has brought the institutions to the brink of Chas v’Sholom faltering.
An international effort has been initiated to ensure the continued vital efforts of this existential institution for Klal Yisroel’s future. The energy is being felt in communities throughout the world to aid in this crucial endeavor.
TODAY only—for the next 30 hours—every dollar that you give for Kiev will be matched!
Please stand with the community of Kiev, with the tireless askanim who dedicate their lives to the future of Yiddishkeit in the Ukraine. And please stand with the Neshamos of Klal Yisroel who are waiting for you to rescue them from the spiritual abyss.
Will you stand with Kiev today?
