For the Sake of Your Sanctuary!

One of the crown jewels of the Torah Kingdom in the Land of Israel is the "Heichal Yitzchok" Yeshiva.

Under the leadership of the well-known gaon, HaRav Yisroel Landau, and the well-known gaon HaRav Daniel Cohen, shlita, the Yeshiva has established a firm place for itself in the mizrach wall of the Torah World, with scores of talmidim vying to learn there. Intense, in-depth learning and sincere love of Torah are the defining characteristics of the yeshiva, which has become a symbol and even a trademark for self-development and Torah acquisition.

The Yeshiva memorializes the gaon HaRav Yitzchok Landau, ztz"l, a Chevron rosh yeshiva, whose intensely deep understanding, coupled with his structured educational approach, produced numerous talmidim of great Torah stature. His educational approach and Torah toil reverberate today, shaping the derech of the Yeshiva and serving as a driving force to attain loftier levels of spirituality.

Founded three and a half years ago upon the advice and with the efforts of Maran the Rosh Yeshiva, the gaon HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman, ztz"l, the Yeshiva has grown in leaps and bounds, now numbering 270 outstanding bochrim who are planted in the tent of Torah and immersed in the world of Abaye and Rava.

The educational platform of the Yeshiva has been artfully designed by the gaon hatzadik, HaRav Yonoson Eber, shlita, mashgiach of the Yeshiva. With his guidance, the Yeshiva has ascended to great heights, evidenced by the diligence and self-development of those learning within its walls, each with eminent knowledge, toil, and love of Torah.

Complying with the directives of Gedolei Yisroel, shlita, the Yeshiva made its home in the outskirts of the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood of Jerusalem, acting as a spiritual lighthouse for the entire neighborhood and adding to the light of Torah in the Holy City of Jerusalem.

Here, in the great sanctuary, where the sounds of Torah resonate loudly, lofty bnei torah are produced, aspiring to reach the Heavens. The song of Torah emanates from here and a holy place is being built for Hashem and His Torah.

The financial burden of founding the yeshiva and the debt incurred during its first years has become a heavy weight that threatens the very existence of the Yeshiva. Creating such a unique Torah Kingdom from the ground up has entailed huge debts, and presents a daily burden that is extremely difficult to bear.

We now have an opportunity to lay the holy cornerstones that will give this sanctuary a permanent home, enabling it to expand, with Hashem's help, to enjoy the serenity that comes with stability, to flourish, and to continue being a powerful spiritual source inspiring upward momentum.
