Chabad of Hannover, Germany is purchasing a new home, and needs your help!
Rabbi Benny and Sternie Wolff established Chabad of Hannover fifteen years ago and served community members, tourists, traveling businessmen and patients seeking treatment, many of whom went on to make profound changes in their own lives.
Last year, Rabbi Benny passed away following a brief illness, leaving behind his wife, eight grieving children and a bereft community. In the wake of their immense tragedy, the Jewish world joined forces to comfort them. We all lent a hand, giving Sternie and her children a financial base to continue living with dignity.
The Wolffs always planned on purchasing a building for their Chabad Center, for Chabad activities to flourish in Hannover.
Recently, Sternie secured a mortgage to purchase a spacious building in a prime location. However, the building needs extensive renovations, at the estimated cost of 520,000 euro, before it can properly serve the needs of the community.
Six months ago we provided Chabad of Hannover a lifeline. Now we need to secure its prosperous future!
