Dear Friends and Supporters,
Today, I reach out to you with a story of resilience, hope, and the ongoing need for our collective support.
Two years ago, our community faced a harrowing antisemitic attack at the Shaloh House Jewish day camp in Boston. An Arab terrorist, with the intent to harm Jewish children, was bravely confronted by Rabbi Shlomo Noginski. Standing at the forefront, Rabbi Noginski fought valiantly, drawing the attacker away from the school and children, sustaining eight severe wounds in the process.
Rabbi Noginski, a father of twelve and a dedicated emissary working with the Russian-speaking Jewish community alongside Rabbi Dan Rodkin, made a powerful decision in the wake of this attack. For every wound he suffered, he pledged to train a new rabbi to bring additional light to Jewish people around the world. Thanks to your incredible support, we established the Rabbinical College in Boston, and In its first year, eight new rabbis emerged, profoundly transforming our community.
These rabbis have been a dynamic force of positive change: over a thousand people put on tefillin, hundreds attended new Torah classes, and many homes witnessed the sanctification of their kitchens. We’ve celebrated over twenty Jewish weddings and ignited countless sparks of Jewish pride and practice.
We are now in our second year, and with evil acts of terror and antisemitism escalating worldwide, our founding mission has become even more vital! With a new group of eight rabbis in training, we are combatting terror and hate by doubling down in our efforts to spread the light of Torah and Mitzvot to the broader Boston community.
In order to sustain this vital mission, we need your help to cover our expenses for our second year. Your support will enable more Jewish weddings, more Torah study, more engagement with Jewish children, and the expansion of Jewish practices like mezuzah placements and kashering kitchens. This effort is our resolute answer to anti-Semitism; it’s how we fortify Jewish pride and presence.
We invite you to make a donation to Rabbi Noginski’s Rabbinical College as we double down in our efforts to empower Jewish pride and education in the face of evil terror and antisemitic hate.
