At this time, the hearts and minds of Jewish People around the world, and good decent people of all faiths are united with the People of Israel and the Israeli Defense Forces, and in their mission and goal to destroy Hamas and their evil counterparts.
The horrific terrorist attack, murderous pogrom, and indeed the "Act of War" on the State of Israel, that took place on October 7, against tens of thousands of innocent Israeli Jewish civilians and the Israeli Defense Forces were meticulously planned for over 2 years.
Make no mistake, this was an attack on every Jewish person, man, woman, and child throughout the entire world. This is a War of Good over Evil, Light over Darkness, and Humanity and civilization over Barbarism and Chaos.
Now more than ever each of us must do our part to support the people of Israel and the IDF both monetarily, physically, and spiritually. Each one of us has the to increase daily with the performance of "Charity, Prayer, and Torah Study, the 3 Pillars that sustain and enable the existence of the entire world.
In our corner of the World, Bakersfield, CA, it is our solemn duty and obligation to ensure that the light and warmth of Torah and Mitzvahs burn brightly for all to see. Please participate and partner with us in our Year End Campaign of 2023.
Our Chabad Jewish Community Center was founded in 2002 and is now 21 years old, and, thanks to your generous and kind support we are serving the Bakersfield and greater Kern County Jewish community in an ever-widening variety of ways. Through our many year-round educational programs, community outreach activities and programs, year-round Prayer services, and High Holidays and Festival Services, we continue to be a source of pride to you and our entire Bakersfield Community.
Our fundraising goal for our year-end campaign of 2023 is to raise $26,000.00 to be used towards our operating expenses.
