Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my personal experience with Sickle Cell in Uganda. We aren't too familiar with this genetic disease in the west , but it is a very sad, painful and life impacting disease. I have seen the unnecessary suffering that this disease causes. At CTI with our LifeHealth Network, and our partners Abbott , Illumina, IBM, Vonage and others we are able to enable Sickle Cell Warriors and their families to have access to first class primary and specialty care with our Telemedicine and EHR platform. We are committed to do what we can raise funds to enable the over 50,000 Warriors to go have the tools they needs to thrive.

We are also committed to developing world class Research and Development, together with The Ministry of Health in Uganda and also the University of Malta and others.

Being that this disease is only transmitted via both parents having the Sickle Gene , the experience in the Ashkenazi Jewish Community, it has been proven that with education, testing and screening, these genetic diseases can be prevented.

I encourage you to please join us on this journey that can positively impact the lives of millions of our African brothers and sisters.
