With the help of all, we managed to raise R $ 900,000 from the total of R$ 1,100,000 required for the Reconstruction of the Maria Helen Drexel Association's (AMHD) Social and Recreation Headquarters.
Now let's try to reach the total budget until the end of our Campaign on June 30th. And at this stage, because we no longer count on the values of our multipliers, the donations will be accounted for face value.

The Maria Helen Drexel Foundation (AMHD) is a civil organization that supports children and teenagers, whose basic rights have been violated or threatened, providing protection, assistance, health and education. In its five host houses, AMHD offers family structure with monitoring 24 hours of caregivers, psych pedagogical assistance, therapeutic, educational and all necessary to personal development, with activities focused to maintain the family ties of children and biological families.
AMHD bets on the host model known as Home Residence. Each of the homes has at least two resident caregivers and one auxiliary, in addition to caregivers, psychologists and educators. With a maximum number of 10 hosts per unit, children and teenagers can experience a family life, having their individualities respected and encouraged. Psychosocial development is favored by the humanized environment, resulting in young adults able to live their lives autonomously and productively.

In order to be able to continue providing this important social service with all the quality that children and adolescents deserve, the entity needs to rebuild its headquarter/leisure center, impacted by constant flood – one of the points of the project is an elevation of the floor. A global reinsurance/insurance company with operations in Brazil (which per internal policy prefers not to disclose its name) has supported the project since the beginning, having elected AMHD as "Charity of the Year" for three consecutive years.
A real estate and construction company will manage the construction and provide its expertise and resources to support the project as well. To complete the necessary resources for the immediate kick-off of the project, AMHD is launching a crowdfunding campaign, having hired Charidy, that will make available a platform for online donations, accessible by computer or mobile. Payment can be made by credit card and it is possible installments up to 10 times to donate.
