The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank exists to help strengthen low-income families in the St. Louis region by ensuring access to an adequate supply of diapers and raising awareness about the causes and consequences of diaper need in our community. Our newest initiative, the St. Louis Alliance for Period Supplies, helps ensure that individuals in need have access to essential period products required to participate in daily life fully. In 2020, we will distribute 3 million diapers and 400,000 period supplies in consort with over 60 partner organizations to low-income families region-wide.

Diaper Need and Period Poverty are real issues for thousands in the St. Louis region, and the numbers are growing every day. 

New financial difficulties and layoffs during the pandemic have increased these needs throughout our city, with many unable to afford the essential basics. Over the past six months, we have distributed over 850,000 diapers and 325,000 period supplies.

Without necessities such as period products and diapers, individuals face more significant challenges, both personally and professionally.
