Hundreds of Israeli children have been physically and mentally injured by terrorist attacks in recent years. Especially in the south of the country, within the range of rockets from the Gaza Strip, Israeli citizens, of Jewish and Bedouin origin, are victims of indiscriminate acts of terror. The development opportunities of these young people depend on receiving professional help according to their individual needs.
The project
Due to the current emergency situation in Israel, we decided to start our aid campaign for the children of Israel immediately. Since then the Europe-wide crowdfunding campaign has been active.
Within the framework of this fundraising campaign, Keren Hayesod - Vereinigte Israel Aktion e.V. in Germany would like to raise the funds to secure a therapy place for 650 children and youth for one year according to their needs. 984€ is needed for each child to receive the help they need.
- Hundreds of volunteers are helping to reach the campaign goal. Together they form Europe's largest movement for the people of Israel.
- Each donation is "matched", i.e. doubled by a major donor.

Children who are victims of terrorism often revert to non-age-appropriate behaviors that they had previously discarded. Such as: bed-wetting, thumb-sucking, irrational anxiety, sleep disturbances and nightmares.
In the long term, these children are less able to cope with challenges and suffer from concentration difficulties and depression. They are particularly at risk of alcohol and drug abuse.
