#HebronHeroes
Today is the day we need YOU to be a HERO for HEBRON! From our grandparents in the Tomb of Machpela to King David, from its ancient Jewish community to the vibrant one of today, Hebron is a city of HEROES.
Join the ranks of Israel’s and Hebron’s Heroes. We are raising $500,000 in the next 24-hours for The Hebron Fund, and we need your heroic act to achieve heroic success!
The Hebron Fund has one goal: To support and perpetuate the HEBRON HEROES in their eternal work. The Hebron Fund improves and elevates Hebron’s:
DAILY LIVES by funding parks, playgrounds, after-school programs, libraries, tourism, and cultural and education events.
SPIRITUAL LIVES by maintaining Hebron’s Holy Sites
PERSONAL LIVES by supporting families in need, victims of terror, and allotting holiday, special occasion, and emergency grants.
SAFETY AND SECURITY by raising funds to keep Hebron safe and provide educational, recreational, and religious programs for local security services
CONTINUITY AND MESSAGING by raising awareness in the American and International Jewish Community regarding Hebron’s Heroic past, present, and future!
The legacy of the biblical heroes, our Founding Fathers and Mothers who rest in Hebron, as well as the rights of the modern day citizens of Hebron and all who wish to visit and worship there freely is under attack.
Recently UNESCO voted that The Tomb of OUR Forefathers and Mothers is a Palestinian Heritage site. As Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu stated “That’s fake history”! UNESCO’s vote, along with the current mayor of the PA side of Hebron (a known terrorist who personally carried out attacks against Jewish Hebron, and encourages other to continue in his evil ways), poses a threat to Hebron and the heroic soldiers, residents, and visitors who keep it safe.
NOW IS YOUR HEROIC MOMENT! A hero is someone who does what he or she can to make the world a better place. You are our HERO. Your are Israel’s HERO. Your heroic contribution is everything to HEBRON HEROES.

ABOUT THE HEBRON FUND (link to Hebron Fund website HERE)
The Hebron Fund, a New York based not-for-profit charitable organization, was founded in 1979. While the Fund is a separate entity, it was created as an affiliate organization of the Jewish community in Hebron, and subsequently, operates in concert with the community there to assess their needs and respond in kind.
A primary goal of the organization is the raising of capital for the improvement of daily life for the residents of Hebron, Israel. This includes funding for all parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, after-school programs, libraries, and summer youth activities; as well as sponsorship of public cultural and educational events in Hebron.
In addition the Fund aids the maintenance and development of the synagogues in the Machpela Cave, the ancient Avraham Avinu Synagogue and other religious institutions in the area. We provide financial support to needy families who represent us daily in Hebron. Aside from ongoing support to help struggling families or families that are affected by terrorism, we increase funds before major holidays, weddings and special circumstances.
A secondary goal of the organization is educating the American Jewish Community regarding the rich historical Jewish past of Hebron and weaving that knowledge with present day experiences in the hope of reviving and expanding the ancient Jewish custom of pilgrimage to this holy site.
Due to the sacred role of Hebron in Jewish history, communities around the world have traditionally raised funds to provide humanitarian, educational and religious services for the Jews of Hebron since the early Middle Ages. We are proud to be continuing and expanding this tradition into the 21st Century.
