Our dear father, HaRav Yosef Hertz ZT'L lived a life fully immersed in the study of Torah. His insatiable thirst for understanding Hashem's teachings motivated him to dedicate his entire existence to the pursuit and dissemination of Torah knowledge and values.

Employing his profound comprehension and treasured Torah principles, he played a vital role in reintegrating individuals with limited knowledge back into the embrace of the Jewish community. With the support of להבדיל בין חיים לחיים his wife, Rebbetzin Chana, (may Hashem bless her with good health and strength עמו"ש), they collectively assisted thousands of disenfranchised Jews in discovering their authentic identities and finding their rightful place within Judaism.

Their grandson, Rabbi Ari Hertz, has chosen to continue the legacy of his grandparents by working for Emet Outreach. Through warm connections and sharing an authentic Torah perspective, Emet has B'H successfully helped countless young men and women rediscover and reconnect with their Jewish heritage.

The recent commemoration of the 2nd Yohrtzeit for this Torah giant, HaRav Yosef ben Tzvi Aryeh ZT'L, holds great significance. In light of this important occasion, the Hertz Family has joined forces with Emet in their current fundraising campaign.
