Rav Rodal's Torah

Rabbi Shmuel hakohen Rodal, our dear father, served as a teacher par excellence and the Rebbe's shliach in Milan, Italy, for over 50 years. The passion, commitment to truth and contagious love that he lived with touched the hundreds of students, along with thousands of people that came in contact with him.

Indeed, our father's personality and glowing smile ensured that not a single person that interacted with him left uninspired.

Each of his 17 children felt loved and cherished like an only child.

Our father's shining face when learning Torah and his love for Hashem were legendary. His unique Italian online Torah classes touched so many people. Every summer, we all moved to the South of Italy, where our father supervised the picking of thousands of Esrogim for Jewish people all over the world.

Last summer, while supervising Esrogim, our father suffered a stroke and was hospitalized throughout the summer. He had ups and downs for several months and tefilot poured in from all over the world. On Hosha'ana Raba, our dear father returned his soul to Hashem in heaven.

The most cherished thing in our father's life was Hashem, His Children and His Torah. To dedicate a Torah and a website with his legendary Shiurim with subtitles and categories, with the option of sharing your personal stories with Rav Rodal in his memory is the best way to perpetuate his life and all he lived for. We welcome you to be a part of this initiative and help make Rav Rodal's Torah a reality, so that we could complete it by his first yahrtzeit.
