The commandment of family purity is the heart of our homes. From time immemorial the Jewish people sacrificed their lives for this mitzva.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged the establishment of elegant and beautiful mikvahs; and sent money as his personal participation for every mikveh that was built!

The Rebbe explained how the mikveh's physical appearance affects the spirituality of the mitzvah performed there. 

Precisely here, in the Rebbe's Kiryat Chabad of Tzfat, women deserve to immerse in an elegant mikveh.

Our community has rapidly grown. But the mikveh, used by hundreds of women, is obsolete. It requires a comprehensive renovation of all its components: plumbing, heating, sealing, adding rooms, and their furnishings.
