Rabbi Ben-Zion koopershtock, who for many years fed hundreds of thousands of people every year throughout the year in the hospitality of the Holy tsiun of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the tsadik man to whom the central hillula is credited and the many immigrants in Lag Boomer every year, abruptly left eleven Children!

Unfortunately, he did not know that his prophecy would come true, and on Saturday morning, he did not feel well and was referred to a hospital when he was diagnosed with mild dyspnea.

At midnight on Wednesday, the doctors announced a slight stabilization, but by morning, the worst news had hit:

Ben-Zion is gone!

The man who gave his life to the public throughout his life, the man whose name was in close contact with the words Lag Ba'omer, Miron, Rabbi Shimon, was buried in a small funeral procession when his fresh widowed wife and his tender children remained isolated at home, bitterly crying.

They still do not understand or digest what has fallen on them,

Until the last minute, they were still sitting with him, leaning on his hope, imagining having a festive the seder night with them as only Dad could arrange ... and imagining him loading and unloading hundreds and thousands of crates of food and drink on the big hillula every year .....

But painfully, they were left alone !!!

Three young men who soon have to get married, young children, and a widowed mother who lost everything.

But they are not alone in mourning. The entire nation of Israel has lost one of the most precious people it has ever known!

Ben-Zion was the first to volunteer for any public interest in Meron, taking massive debts on his shoulders for the public. The repair of the "cohanim terrace", thanks to which hundreds of cohanim have been privileged to pray in the tsiun, supply food and drink to thousands of immigrants to Maron 365 days a year 24 hours a day. Logistical involvement in the world's largest shrine organization is just a modest part of his vast activity.

His love was real and unconditional for every Jew, and especially for the mention of Gd Tana Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Love that led him to say one of the most chilling sentences two weeks ago: "R. Shimon or your soul will come to dance with us on Lag Ba'omer, or I'll come to you," and he came up to him, leaving behind three young orphans begging for help.
