In the times of the Holy Baal Shem Toz zy"a in 1752 a pandemic broke out in Mezibuzh and the Besh"t told the townsfolk to start writing a new Sefer Torah. As soon as they started writing the Sefer Torah the pandemic stopped.

In this same hallowed and scared place in Mezibuzh a new Sefer Torah has been started to be written in the past days for the sake of Klal Yisroel. Upon completion this Sefer Torah will Iy"H be used in the Holy old Beis Hamedrash of the Besh"t in Mezibuzh.

All charitable donations will be go to the Kupas Hachessed for Ukrainian Jewry that supports jews in Ukraine on a constant basis, especially in these days that many jews in Ukraine who make their livelihood from the tourism and pilgrimage to Kivrei Tzadikim industry, which has been totally shut down the past 6 weeks, with the total lockdown of Ukrainian borders and airspace, due to the coronavirus pandemic, and have now been left bereft of their livelihoods and means of supplying the basic needs of their families and children.

קמפיין כתיבת ספר תורה סגולה מהבעל שם טוב זיע"א לעצירת מגיפה

ספר התורה יוכנס לבית הכנסת העתיק של הבעש"ט במעזי'בוז לרפואת כלל ישראל.

בעקבות מעשה שהיה בזמן הבעש"ט בשנת ה-תקי"ב (1752) במעז'בוז שפרצה מגיפה והבעש"ט הורה להתחיל בכתיבת ספר תורה ואכן עם כתיבת מספר יריעות בספר התורה המגיפה נעצרה. 

וכך באותו מקום מסוגל התחילו בכתיבה המרגשת של ספר התורה שיוכנס בערב חג השבועות יום פטירת הבעש"ט לבית הכנסת העתיק של הבעש"ט.
